Job summary

Republic Polytechnic's School of Hospitality is seeking a Senior Lecturer (Capabilities & Industry Development) with expertise in hotel management, business development, and tech & innovation to advance teaching and industry partnerships.

You will drive hospitality transformation projects, develop curricula aligning with tech trends, mentor students, and lead partnerships with hotels, technology providers, and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Tourism, Business, Information Systems, Digital Transformation, or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• At least 8 years of relevant industry experience in hotel management, hospitality consulting, or related sector.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and hospitality technologies.
• Experience in hospitality digital transformation and AI applications.
• Proven track record in business development and industry engagement.
• Strong project leadership and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate hospitality modules including hotel operations and guest experience management.
• Develop and review curricula aligned with evolving industry needs and technologies.
• Mentor and supervise students in projects, internships, and industry-based learning.
• Lead hospitality transformation projects and adoption of emerging technologies.
• Build partnerships with hotels, technology providers, and government agencies.
• Develop proposals, business cases, and partnership agreements.
• Represent the School at industry forums and events.
• Conduct applied research with industry partners to address challenges.
