Job summary

SsangYong Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil & Structural (C&S) Manager to lead the civil and structural works for a major hospital project in Singapore.

You will oversee planning, coordination, and delivery, ensuring compliance with designs, specs, quality standards, and Singapore regulations. The role requires strong leadership, site coordination, and able to manage multiple technical and site matters in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant civil/structural construction experience, preferably large-scale projects.
• PE registration or professional accreditation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all civil and structural works from planning to completion.
• Review drawings, specifications, calculations, method statements and construction details.
• Coordinate with architectural, M&E and subcontractors to resolve design and site issues.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore standards, regulations and project schedules.
• Supervise subcontractors and attend coordination meetings with consultants and teams.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure quality control and proper documentation.
