Job summary

The Ministry of Health in Singapore is seeking a policy and programme professional to join the team responsible for clinical services provision and hospital capacity planning in development projects. You will help ensure timely delivery of acute care services and monitor capacity to respond to peacetime and surge demands, contributing to national clinical services planning for better patient value.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in healthcare or related field with minimum three years working experience, preferably in healthcare-related roles.
Prior experience in health care administration/management would be an advantage.
Positive, self-motivated and high standard of integrity.
Able to work effectively in teams and manage and engage different groups of stakeholders.
Project management skills would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

a. To review and monitor bed capacity and opening plans for hospital development projects.
b. To assess and plan hospital clinical services, which includes reviewing the need for service provision and ensuring adequate clinical governance.
c. To monitor and analyse hospital capacity utilisation trends, as well as implement capacity mitigation measures.
d. To plan, review, develop and implement policies on sustainable national clinical services strategies.
