Job summary

SilverConnect.sg in Singapore seeks compassionate psychologists and counsellors to deliver home-based mental health support. The Home Psychologist / Counsellor will assess, counsel and develop care plans for seniors, caregivers and families in their homes.

The role includes collaborating with clinicians and caregivers, maintaining confidential records, and addressing anxiety, depression, grief and caregiver burnout. Flexible hours and per-session remuneration are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Educational Psychology or equivalent.
• Registered Psychologist with the SPS Register preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in community care, eldercare, mental health or rehabilitation settings is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to travel for home visits across Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments or counselling sessions in clients' homes.
• Provide individual, family and caregiver counselling.
• Develop appropriate care plans and intervention strategies.
• Support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, caregiver burnout, or dementia-related challenges.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and family members.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation.
• Monitor clients' progress and recommend follow-up interventions.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers and caregivers.
• Escalate high-risk cases in accordance with guidelines.
