Job summary

LMA Recruitment is seeking a High Net Worth Pricing Lead for a leading insurer in Singapore. You will shape pricing strategy for HNW insurance products, develop pricing methodologies, and work with product, distribution, underwriting, valuation and risk teams to ensure commercial viability.

The role requires deep actuarial expertise and strong business acumen to influence pricing decisions and portfolio profitability in a Singaporean context.

Qualifications

• Actuarial qualification or strong actuarial background.
• Experience in life insurance pricing, preferably with HNW exposure.
• Understanding of product profitability, assumptions and insurance economics.
• Able to translate pricing analysis into clear commercial recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional influence.
• Experience in the Singapore insurance market is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategy and development for HNW insurance products.

I’m looking for a strong High Net Worth (HNW) Pricing Lead to join a leading insurer in Singapore.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of pricing, product strategy and commercial decision-making, and wants to play a key role in shaping the insurer’s HNW proposition.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead pricing strategy and development for HNW insurance products
• Develop and review pricing assumptions, methodologies and models
• Partner closely with Product, Distribution, Underwriting, Valuation and Risk teams to ensure pricing is commercially sound and sustainable
• Provide pricing insights and recommendations to support product launches, repricing and portfolio optimisation
• Monitor portfolio experience and profitability, identifying opportunities and emerging risks
• Support senior management with pricing analysis and business recommendations
• Drive continuous improvements to pricing frameworks, tools and processes

What we’re looking for:

• Actuarial qualification or strong actuarial background preferred
• Solid experience in life insurance pricing, preferably with exposure to HNW / affluent propositions
• Strong understanding of product profitability, assumptions and insurance economics
• Comfortable translating technical pricing analysis into clear commercial recommendations
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across different functions
• Experience working in the Singapore insurance market would be an advantage
