Job summary

AIA SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced Actuarial Pricing professional to support the development of new and innovative HNW products. You will build pricing models, develop assumptions, and prepare regulatory filings while coordinating with senior management.

The role involves evaluating financial metrics, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of pricing projects with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
• Progress in actuarial professional exams.
• 5+ years actuarial experience in life insurance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

About the Role

The incumbent’s main responsibility is the Actuarial pricing in support of the development for new and innovative HNW products or campaigns, including the development of assumptions and pricing models, preparation of regulatory product filings, internal presentations, and support in product implementation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Actuarial pricing of new and existing HNW products, including preparation of reports and presentations for senior management
• Assess and evaluate key financial metrics, and propose ways to improve them while balancing the need for product competitiveness
• Engage a range of internal stakeholders on pricing and implementation matters
• Review product-related documents and provide policy servicing support
• Provide technical and implementation support for system development, including UAT, Day 1 and post-launch enhancements
• Completion of assigned projects / jobs within the expected timelines

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent quantitative discipline
• Min 5 years of actuarial experience in life insurance
• Demonstrated progress in actuarial professional exams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Knowledge of Prophet or similar actuarial software is a strong advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with good technical and analytical skills
• Strong business awareness with accuracy and efficiency of analysis
• Effective communication of results and key findings
• Handson project management & supervisory skills
