Job summary

Ramboll Singapore, APAC High-rise & Complex Buildings team, seeks a Structural Engineer to contribute to analysis, design and delivery of building structures from concept through detailed design and construction support. You will prepare calculations, reports and drawings while collaborating with senior engineers and project leads.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years’ post-graduate experience in structural design.
• Experience designing building structures using local and international codes.
• Proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, RAM or Robot.
• Working knowledge of BIM-enabled design coordination with modellers/technicians.
• Knowledge of Rhino/Grasshopper/Python/C# is advantageous.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking structural analysis and design for building projects under guidance.
• Preparing calculations, reports, sketches, drawings, specifications and technical notes.
• Developing and reviewing structural models and finite element analyses.
• Coordinating with BIM modellers, technicians and other disciplines.
• Supporting authority submissions, tender submissions and responses to technical queries.
• Participating in design reviews, project meetings and coordination workshops.
• Contributing to design optimisation and practical resolution of technical challenges.
• Supporting bids, proposals and knowledge sharing.
