Job summary

Persol Singapore PTE LTD is seeking an experienced underwriter to lead High Net Worth cases and mentor junior underwriters. The role involves providing expert guidance to financial planners, liaising with distribution channels, and ensuring KPI targets and service standards are met.

You will also conduct training sessions and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Underwrite new applications for High Net Worth Plans, ensuring sound risk assessment and consistent decision-making.
• Strong technical expertise in Life, Accident, Critical Illness, Disability and Health underwriting.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess complex cases under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review, countersign, and provide technical guidance to junior underwriters to maintain quality and adherence to underwriting standards.
• Provide expert underwriting advice to financial planners through e-booking platforms, emails, and calls.
• Act as a liaison between NBU and distribution channels, fostering strong business relationships.
• Ensure that all department KPIs and service standards, including turnaround times and quality benchmarks, are consistently met.
• Conduct underwriting training sessions for distribution channels and internal stakeholders.
