The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is Singapore's planning and heritage authority responsible for conserving built heritage and guiding development. As an architect/planner in the Conservation Planning Department, you will contribute to protecting and promoting conservation areas and buildings through policy, planning, and data-driven tools.

• Degree in Architecture, Urban Design or Planning, Geography, Building Conservation or Conservation Management with strong interest in architectural heritage.
• Experience with Singapore heritage projects and interest in local identity is a plus.
• Knowledge or interest in GIS, digital technologies and 3D systems in planning and conservation work.
• Candidates with at least 2–3 years of related experience are preferred.
• Pleasant, dynamic, public-oriented, able to multi-task and work independently or in a team.
• Fluency in English and at least one Singapore official language is required.

Responsabilidades

• Process development applications and proposals for conserved buildings.
• Formulate policies and guidelines for conservation areas and buildings.
• Undertake initiatives to protect and enhance character and the built and socio-cultural environment of conservation areas and buildings.
• Plan and develop areas with heritage interest.
• Evaluate heritage buildings for conservation.
• Engage with stakeholders and interest groups on proposals and development plans.
• Develop digital planning tools and analyse data using GIS and other applications.
