Renal Dialysis Centre Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled nurse to participate in the assessment, implementation and evaluation of dialysis outcomes, and to perform hemodialysis cannulation and treatment in accordance with practice standards. The candidate must hold a Diploma in Nursing registered with SNB, have at least 2 years of dialysis centre

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing recognised by Singapore Nursing Board.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in dialysis centre.
• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
• Available for 5/6-day work week including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform hemodialysis cannulation and treatment for patients according to standards of practice and guidelines
• Practise proper infection control procedures based on current infection control guidelines
• Guide and direct enrolled nurse level and below to ensure quality nursing care is rendered to patients at all times
• Record informative, accurate and concise statements on hemodialysis treatment, blood results and parameters
• Administer intravenous antibiotics, IV Erythropoietin and other medications during hemodialysis treatment with standard of practice
• Collect water sampling for water culture to maintain safe water standard guidelines
• Work closely with respective hospital for blood investigation and follow up
• Take appropriate nursing actions in emergency situations that compromise patient safety
• Participate in the assessment, implementation and evaluation of quality dialysis outcomes
