Job summary

Stolt-Nielsen Singapore Pte Ltd invites applications for a Heavy Forklift Driver to support loading, unloading and storage of bulk liquids in our tank container and depot network in Singapore. You will work as part of a professional international team.

The role requires above 12 ton forklift license, experience with container spreaders, and 1–2 years in the logistics sector. We offer a full‑time permanent role, Mon–Fri 8:30–17:30, company transport, medical benefits, and a 13th month bonus.

Qualifications

• Forklift license for above 12 tons.
• Experience with heavy forklifts and container spreaders.
• 1–2 years in the same industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely position tank containers at designated locations.
• Follow forklift supervisor's instructions to optimize workflow.
• Observe safety and OHSE at work.
• Assist with shifting tanks within the depot.
• Submit Equipment Inspection Reports for incoming/outgoing tanks.
• Coordinate tank information with Operations Coordinator and Supervisors.
• Perform daily forklift checks on oil, coolant, battery water and hydraulics.
• Take exterior photos of tanks when required.
• File EIR documents for easy retrieval.
• Conduct daily tank storage stacking checks.

Could this be the scene for your next career move? We are currently recruiting for a Heavy Forklift Driver to join our dynamic team.

You will be joining a professional and international team with extensive knowledge of the industry. As a member of our operations team, you will provide logistics support to load and unload the tank containers. Your expertise ensures that we will continue to set the industry benchmark for seamless and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure to place tank containers at the appropriate locations safely at corner casting to corner casting position.
• Ensure to place tanks at locations assigned by Forklift Supervisor that makes workflow smooth, retrieve easy and release efficient.
• Ensure to observe the safety precautions and OHSE management at work.
• Assist to shift tanks within the depot as when required.
• Carry out immediate tank exterior survey and submit Equipment Inspection Report for in-coming and out-going tanks when required. Report to the Operations Coordinator and the Operations Manager promptly on major damages.
• In the absence of the Asst Operations Coordinator, ensure to channel tank information on tank specification, tank condition, tank status, tank movement and customers’ requirement among the Operations Coordinator, the Supervisors and independent surveyors clearly and timely.
• Ensure to carry out daily checks on forklift on engine oil, diesel, battery water, hydraulic oil, etc. Report management for any equipment damages and maintenance repairs.
• Ensure to carry out tank out photo taking as when required.
• Ensure to carry out EIR documents filing for easy retrieving as when required.
• Ensure to carry out daily tank storage stacking checks.

Qualifications

• Above 12 ton Forklift Driver License
• Have relevant heavy forklift experience
• Experience with spreader forklift used for handling container required
• Preferably with 1 -2 years of related experience in the same industry
