Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related experience in Heat Treatment processes.
• Able to work in high temperature environments.
• Experience in a heat treatment environment preferred.

• Maintain measuring equipment and perform accurate inspections.
• Enter quality documentation accurately and timely.

Job description

ALG is currently hiring Heat Treat Technicians for our client based in Singapore. Our client is known for designing, manufacturing, and servicing systems and components for the aerospace and defense industries.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and trouble-shooting in handling of Vacuum Carburize, Gas Nitride, Atmospheric and Vacuum Heat Treatment equipment and processes

• Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gages and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks

• Enter all information on quality documents accurately and timely

• Maintaining active certified machinist status

• Read and interpret blueprints

• Adhere to EH&S & CORE requirements in the work place

• Work in an orderly fashion keeping work areas, benches and machinery in a tidy and clean condition after used

• Perform daily housekeeping and sustain 5S implementations

• Engage in any other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor

• Notify the Supervisor of any furnace/machine or tooling problems which could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions

Job Requirements

• NITEC qualification in Precision Engineering or equivalent

• At least 5 years related experience in Heat Treatment processes

• Work experience in heat treatment work environment is preferred but not necessary

• Able to tolerate high temperature work environment
