Job summary

Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for a healthcare institution in Singapore. Working hours include a 5-day week with rotating shifts from 7am-4pm or 12:30pm-9:30pm.

The role involves orienting and assisting with patient transfers, aiding nurses in moving patients, changing linens, guiding patients to toilets, maintaining ambulance triage readiness, and promptly responding to call bells while coordinating with departments to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• PSLE certificate or equivalent required.
• Able to work in shift system.

Responsibilities

• Orient and assist with transferring patients to their assigned bed and facilities from the observation area.
• Assist together with nurses in transferring patients between trolley beds and wheelchairs.
• Assist with changing of linens ready for use for new patients and when soiled.
• Guide and assist patients to toilets as needed.
• Maintain the Ambulance Triage area by ensuring it is filled with Trolley Beds.
• Respond promptly to patients' call bells or requests and assist them; relay requests to the appropriate department for timely resolution.
• Ensure equipment and necessities are topped up, including restocking top‑up stations.
• Provide feeding assistance to certain patients as directed by nursing staff.
• Monitor patients closely, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pantry supplies, alerting nursing staff to low stock levels.
• Collaborate with nursing staff in changing and cleaning patients when necessary.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the department‑in‑charge, contributing to the smooth operation of the healthcare facility.

• Respond promptly to patients' call bells or requests and assist them. Otherwise, look for the nurses for assistance and relay their requests to the appropriate department, and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure equipment and necessities are topped up, including restocking top‑up stations.
