Job summary

Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities in Singapore invites applications for a Nursing Aide. You will assist doctors and registered nurses in simple procedures, document observations and vital signs, and report changes to the nurse on duty.

You will supervise or assist residents with daily living activities and accompany them to medical appointments. Candidates from NITEC in Community Care & Social Services, Nursing, Certificate in Healthcare Support, or WSQ nursing-related courses will be considered.

Qualifications

• No specific qualification required.
• At least one of the following qualifications will be considered: NITEC in Community Care & Social Services, NITEC in Nursing, Certificate in Healthcare Support, WSQ Nursing care courses.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and registered nurses in simple procedures.
• Document, monitor and record observations of residents and their vital signs and report changes to the registered nurse.
• Supervise or assist residents in daily living activities (e.g. grooming).
• Escort residents for medical appointments.
• Guide residents to participate in development and recreational programmes.
• Provide general supervision of residents.

• NITEC in Community Care & Social Services;

• HMI Institute of Health Sciences' Certificate in Healthcare Support
• WSQ Certificate in nursing care-related courses and / or relevant work experience in nursing care
