Job summary

SATS Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior Technology Business Partner for Food Solutions entities. You will lead technology enablement, partner with business leaders, and drive AI, automation and data-driven projects.

You will oversee enterprise tech standards, vendor relationships and regulatory compliance while shaping a strategic technology roadmap for Singapore operations.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

The Technology Business Partner, Food Solutions (Singapore) serves as the primary technology partner for the Singapore Food Solutions entities (including SCAT, SFS and CF) and is part of the broader Technology Business Enablement APAC team.

Team Leadership & People Management

• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on technology-related matters.
• Coordinate and align technology teams, vendors and business stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Foster collaboration between Food Solutions users and enterprise technology teams to drive successful project delivery and service outcomes.
• Promote adherence to enterprise technology standards, governance and cybersecurity requirements.

Technology Enablement

• Ensure effective technology delivery, support and enablement for Singapore Food Solutions entities, aligned with enterprise standards and local operational requirements.
• Partner with business leadership and translate strategic and operational priorities into actionable technology initiatives.
• Support the execution of enterprise technology strategies and programmes.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology, automation and digital solutions.

Business Partnership and Value Realisation

• Partner with business leaders, ensuring technology is a driver of growth, efficiency and business value
• Advocate for business needs within the regional/global TDX organization
• Drive adoption of digital, automation and data-driven solutions to enhance operations and customer experience

Technology Foundation & Operations

• Oversee day-to-day technology operations for the business, ensuring high availability, performance and user satisfaction
• Manage escalations, service performance and operational reliability for business-critical systems
• Ensure adherence with global technology policies, governance frameworks, statutory and regulatory requirements
• Lead incident response processes, impact analysis, cross-functional coordination and perform post-incident reviews
• Provide transparency into performance, risks and financials for technology portfolio
• Establish and enforce enterprise technology standards, reducing technical debt and Shadow IT proliferation

Core Systems Delivery

• Lead and sponsor technology initiatives supporting Food Solutions Singapore, including Demand & Supply Planning, Operation Process Digitalization and Food Safety programmes.
• Manage change impacts and ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes
• Manage the application portfolio including rationalization, vendor management, and lifecycle governance
• Identify opportunities to improve technology services, automation, and user experience
• Drive standardization while accommodating local business needs where possible

Vendor & Budget Management

• Manage technology budget, forecast costs and optimize spend
• Oversee vendor and service provider relationships in collaboration with global vendor management and procurement functions

AI & Digital Innovation

• Champion the AI innovation agenda for Food Solutions, identifying, piloting, and scaling use cases with measurable business impact
• Partner with operations to develop Smart Factory capabilities, embedding IoT, analytics, and automation into Food production environments
• Collaborate with TDX AI Centre of Excellence to ensure Food AI initiatives are aligned with enterprise architecture and data governance

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related experience.
• Ongoing commitment to training and professional development in technology (through conferences, courses, certifications) to stay current with industry best practices.
• Minimum 10 years of technology leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a business partner or technology general management role.
• Proven record of partnering with senior business leaders to deliver technology-enabled outcomes.
• Strong delivery management experience deploying technology initiatives (digital platforms and applications, automation, data-driven projects).
• Working within a global technology function with enterprise governance and local deployment.
• Strong experience in ERP (SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365) and planning system (i.e., Relex) delivery in a complex, multi-entity environment.
• Ability to translate business needs into technology requirements for stakeholders at all organizational levels, aligned with global technology vision and strategy.
• Background in food manufacturing, aviation catering, FMCG industries is a strong advantage.
