Job summary

Trustway Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a senior Treasurer to drive the branch's treasury strategy, oversee liquidity, funding, investments and market activities.

You will lead asset and liability management, manage interest rate and liquidity risk, ensure MAS compliance, provide strategic recommendations to senior management, and develop the Treasury team while maintaining strong relationships with regulators and market counterparties.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
• 15+ years' treasury or financial markets experience incl. leadership.
• Strong expertise in liquidity management, funding, ALM & markets.
• Solid MAS regulations knowledge & treasury risk practices.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to balance growth with risk and regulatory expectations.
• Subject to MAS fit-and-proper and approval requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee liquidity, funding, investment, and financial market activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk limits.
• Lead asset and liability management, including interest rate and liquidity risk oversight.
• Provide market insights and strategic recommendations to senior management and committees.
• Represent Treasury in management, risk, compliance, and governance forums.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years' relevant treasury or financial markets experience, including leadership of a treasury function within a banking environment.
• Strong expertise in liquidity management, funding, ALM, treasury products, and financial markets.
• Sound knowledge of MAS regulations and treasury risk management practices.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, risk, and regulatory expectations.
• Subject to applicable MAS fit-and-proper and approval requirements.
