Job summary

Girl Guides Singapore is seeking a Head/Manager of Training & Programs to lead the TPUD team, shaping strategic initiatives for programme development, volunteer engagement and partnerships. This leadership role focuses on team management, process improvement and impactful program delivery.

The role emphasizes developing training frameworks, expanding partnerships, and fostering international engagement while empowering young women and adult leaders across communities.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in partnerships, program development or community engagement, including at least 3 years of direct people management (e.g. supervising, appraising and developing staff).
• A people leader who can motivate, coach and develop a team, manage performance fairly and consistently, and handle difficult conversations with care.
• Ability to set strategic direction and drive execution with clear outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop the Training, Program & Unit Development Team, serving as Reporting Officer and building a collaborative, accountable culture.
• Improve Team Processes by reviewing and streamlining TPUD workflows, systems and processes.
• Oversee Programmes design, management and delivery to support member growth and empowerment.
• Shape Training & Development with robust indoor and outdoor training frameworks.
• Drive & Support Unit Growth to enhance unit performance and engagement.
