The role acts as an extension of the CSTO, leading complex, high-impact initiatives from problem definition through execution, while engaging senior executives, Board-level stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. This individual will be responsible for identifying and driving value creation opportunities, overseeing strategic governance under the Value Creation Program (VCP) framework, and supporting major M&A and post-merger integration (PMI) activities. The role requires a highly structured strategic thinker with strong execution capability, stakeholder influence, and financial acumen.

What You'll Do
Strategic Transformation & Value Creation Leadership

  • Define strategic problem statements, hypotheses, business cases, and measurable outcomes
  • Structure and manage complex cross-functional transformation programs with clear governance, timelines, milestones, and accountability
  • Identify bottlenecks, risks, and execution gaps, proactively driving resolution and escalation where required
  • Act as a strategic advisor and execution lead to senior leadership on critical business priorities
  • Continuously surface new strategic topics, operational inefficiencies, and value creation opportunities
  • Ensure initiatives are outcome-oriented with clear commercial and operational impact
Executive & Board Stakeholder Management
  • Engage and influence stakeholders across the Executive Leadership Team, C‑suite, and Board-level audiences
  • Lead executive steering committees, governance forums, and strategic workshops
  • Translate complex strategic, operational, and financial issues into concise executive-level recommendations
  • Drive alignment across business units and functions in highly matrixed environments
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, advisors, and partners
M&A, Corporate Development & Post‑Merger Integration
  • Support strategic M&A initiatives including opportunity assessment, strategic rationale development, and value creation planning
  • Lead or support commercial due diligence, synergy assessment, operating model design, and integration planning
  • Drive post‑merger integration programs across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and entities
  • Establish governance structures, synergy tracking, Day‑1 readiness plans, and integration execution frameworks
  • Manage the complexity of integrating different organisations, cultures, operating models, and stakeholder groups
  • Partner closely with Finance, Legal, Technology, Operations, HR, and external advisors during transaction and integration phases
Financial & Strategic Analysis
  • Develop robust financial models, investment cases, scenario analyses, and valuation assessments as required
  • Conduct strategic market analysis, competitor assessments, and commercial evaluations

  • Prior experience at a leading strategy consulting firm strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex enterprise transformation programs
  • Strong exposure to M&A, commercial due diligence, synergy planning, and post‑merger integration
  • Experience operating in highly complex stakeholder environments with senior executive and Board exposure
  • Experience within PE‑backed, high‑growth, transformation‑intensive, or multinational environments is advantageous
Skills & Capabilities
  • Exceptional strategic problem‑solving and structured thinking capability
  • Strong program management and execution discipline
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and high‑pressure environments
  • Advanced financial modelling and commercial analysis capability
  • Strong business judgement with the ability to balance strategic thinking and practical execution
  • High degree of ownership, resilience, and accountability
