Job summary

Business Edge Personnel Services Pte Ltd in Singapore's Central Region is seeking a Head of Projects (Renovation) to lead end-to-end development and renovation of retail spaces, ensuring brand standards, operational efficiency, and strict timelines.

The role requires a diploma/degree in relevant fields and at least 3 years in commercial renovation, with strong contractor management, budgeting, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in interior design, architecture, project management, or construction.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial renovation or fit-out.
• Experience with F&B, retail, or hospitality renovations preferred.
• Strong contractor, scheduling, budgeting, and site coordination skills.
• Familiar with Singapore renovation regulations and permit processes.
• Ability to liaise with designers, landlords, and stakeholders.
• Hands-on and able to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchUp is advantageous.

Head of Projects (Renovation)

Salary: $5,000 - $8,000

Location: Central Region

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm

Lead the end-to-end development and renovation of retail spaces, ensuring projects align with brand standards, operational efficiency, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with international design consultants (mainly Japanese partners) on retail design concepts and site requirements.
• Present design proposals and feasibility studies to management and Board members.
• Manage contractor bidding, evaluate proposals, and negotiate project costs.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from planning to handover.
• Ensure projects meet timelines, quality standards, and design expectations.
• Handle licensing, permits, and compliance with local regulations.
• Work closely with Operations and Technical teams to optimize store layouts and functionality.
• Implement maintenance and inspection programs across retail outlets and headquarters.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, Construction, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial renovation, fit-out, or interior design projects
• Candidates with F&B, retail, or hospitality renovation experience will be highly preferred
• Strong experience managing contractors, project timelines, budgeting, and site coordination
• Familiar with Singapore renovation regulations, permits, and submission processes
• Able to liaise with designers, consultants, landlords, and internal stakeholders effectively
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design/project tools will be an advantage
• Able to travel between project sites when required
