Job summary

AGROCORP INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD is seeking a seasoned Head of Middle Office to lead end-to-end control and execution of physical agricultural commodity transactions in Singapore. You will partner with Trading to translate trades into accurate contracts, oversee shipment, documentation, payment, and final closure.

The role requires strong leadership, depth in middle-office operations, and the ability to manage multiple teams across Contracts, Documentation and Trade Execution while driving risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Business/Finance/International Trade or related field.
• Professional qualifications in international trade, shipping, supply-chain management or trade finance are advantageous.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Own post-trade lifecycle from confirmation to contract closure.
• Ensure contracts reflect agreed terms including pricing, quantity, shipment periods and payment terms.
• Maintain consistency between trade confirmations, contracts and systems.
• Oversee contract amendments and open contract monitoring.
• Supervise international shipments from contract confirmation through delivery and settlement.
• Coordinate with Traders, suppliers, buyers, origin offices, Logistics, Trade Finance and banks.
• Establish controls to monitor shipment schedules, vessel nominations, and payment status.
• Ensure trade documents are prepared accurately and on time (Bills of Lading, invoices, certificates).
• Review Letters of Credit and payment terms for contractual alignment.
• Identify execution risks and resolve issues with Traders and stakeholders.
• Oversee demurrage, despatch, claims and other operational matters.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for contracts, documentation and trade execution.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes using CTRM/ERP/document-management systems.
