Job summary

GMP Technologies seeks a Leader/Head of Internal Control to strengthen internal controls across South East Asia for the regional representation in Japan and group companies across Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and beyond.

You will drive audit scope, monitor remediation with auditees, and support headquarters in Japan on J-SOX activities while coordinating with internal and external auditors. A background in manufacturing and cross-cultural collaboration is ideal for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in internal/external audit and/or internal control promotion.
• Good knowledge of internal control, auditing techniques, and accounting procedures.
• Professional attitude with objectivity, fairness, integrity, and ethics.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills to interact with multi-cultural stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in English (Japanese proficiency a plus).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability in data analysis (Excel), logical thinking, multi-tasking, and high attention to detail.
• Skills in project/task management, leadership, and teamwork.
• Proactive work attitude with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate internal control of group companies and perform work process evaluations through audits.
• Plan audit scope and schedule; organize meetings with auditees.
• Evaluate processes by checking evidence and interviewing on-site or online.
• Steer activities and monitor progress to meet audit goals; document reports.
