Job summary

National Environment Agency (NEA) seeks a Chief Engineer (Electrical Maintenance) to lead ICA maintenance, drive asset reliability, and oversee site systems at the Waste-To-Energy plant in Singapore.

The role focuses on instrumentation, control, and automation leadership, including DCS/PLC expertise, lifecycle management, and digitalisation initiatives to improve safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICA maintenance and reliability management, including DCS/PLCs and associated systems.
• Oversee building/site systems (BMS, CCTV, ISMS, fire/detection, PA) and site security.
• Develop asset management strategies, preventive/predictive maintenance programmes, and lifecycle plans.
• Analyse ICA failures and conduct root cause analyses.
• Drive digitalisation and automation, data historian utilisation, and OT cybersecurity.
• Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.
