Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd, Singapore, seeks a seasoned Head of Finance to lead the full financial function across multiple business units and report directly to senior management.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, while providing commercial insights to support sales, inventory, and expansion decisions. A driven leader will manage a team of ~15 and drive process improvements in a dynamic mid‑sized group.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience leading finance teams of a similar size in a mid-sized organisation.
• Strong grasp of inventory, working capital, budgeting, financial reporting, tax and audit.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; SAP Business One, AutoCount or Xero is a plus.
• Strategic yet hands-on: comfortable stepping into finance operations when needed.
• Strong leadership, people development and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full finance and accounting function across the group's business units.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting.
• Provide commercial insights to support sales, inventory and business expansion decisions.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and inventory financing.
• Ensure timely, accurate statutory reporting; manage tax, audits and internal controls.
• Partner business heads to improve profitability and cost management.
• Drive finance process improvement and system enhancements.
• Lead, develop and mentor a finance team of around 15, including team leads and a finance manager.
