The Opportunity

Adecco is seeking a Head of Maintenance & Facilities for a leading offshore engineering client. The role oversees all yard maintenance and facilities operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and sustainability. Responsibilities include managing infrastructure upgrades, utilities, and layout planning. The ideal candidate has proven leadership in large-scale maintenance, yard development, and CAPEX/OPEX management.

The Job

• Spearhead the entire new yard development project [Key Focus]
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and civil systems
• Drive utilities optimisation and sustainability programs (energy, water, waste, green initiatives)
• Support yard expansion, facility upgrades, and CAPEX/OPEX planning
• Oversee daily operations: machinery, utilities, welding, electrical systems, diesel top-up, and inventory
• Manage and develop engineers, supervisors, and technicians while enforcing safety and environmental standards

The Talent

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field
• 10+ years in shipyard, offshore, or heavy industrial maintenance
• Leadership experience in large-scale maintenance and yard development
• Knowledge of Singapore regulations (JTC, BCA, NEA, SCDF, MOM) and SS510 standards
• Proficient in permit-to-work, LOTO, equipment calibration, and certification
