The role focuses on building and scaling carbon, renewable energy and related environmental products while contributing to the broader commodities portfolio, including crude oil and refined products. A recognized SME with a strong industry network is essential to push liquidity and market adoption.

Formación

• 10–15+ years in commodities, derivatives and environmental markets.
• Deep knowledge of carbon and renewable energy markets.
• Proven track record in product development and market building.
• Strong global network in energy, environmental, and financial markets.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build markets from early stages.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across cultures and jurisdictions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead product development and market expansion across energy transition & environmental derivatives.
• Develop go-to-market strategies to position Abaxx as a leader in energy transition derivatives.
• Define and execute the exchange’s international environmental/energy transition strategy.
• Lead design, development and launch of derivatives products across carbon, renewable energy and environmental markets.
• Evaluate opportunities to expand into crude oil and refined products within the broader portfolio.
• Identify structural inefficiencies in OTC markets and design exchange-based solutions.
• Develop and manage senior-level relationships with utilities, energy companies, governments and financial institutions.
• Collaborate with clearing, operations, and technology teams for robust post-trade processes; work with legal/compliance on market access.
• Provide market intelligence and feedback to senior management on competitive dynamics and regional trends.
• Represent the exchange at conferences and client forums; drive liquidity and adoption of listed products.
