Job summary

Zerra DC is seeking a Product Director to own design templates, engineering specifications, and OSE standards across APAC campuses. You will lead a team of design and engineering specialists, collaborate with Design, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Operations, and ensure designs are constructible, procurable, and compliant with regional codes in Australia, Japan, and India.

The role requires deep technical breadth across electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, and controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in data centre design/engineering; leadership track.
• Experience owning data centre reference designs and OSE specs.
• Deep grounding across electrical, mechanical, cooling, civil, and controls.
• Knowledge of APAC codes and regulatory processes.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel across APAC.

Responsibilities

• Own development and governance of data centre design templates and standards across APAC.
• Lead creation and maintenance of engineering specifications for multiple disciplines.
• Manage Owner Supplied Equipment specifications and procurement-ready packages.
• Drive improvements to reference designs based on lessons and technology.
• Collaborate with leaders to ensure templates are constructible and aligned with delivery model.
• Ensure designs accommodate regional variations across APAC markets.
• Build and maintain a controlled library of templates and documents with version control.
• Lead and develop a team of designers and engineers and represent Zerra externally.
