Job summary

Digital Edge Data Center is hiring a Director, Design Delivery to lead end-to-end design execution for mission-critical data centre infrastructure across the Asia Pacific region. The role requires deep expertise in mechanical or electrical systems, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive design excellence from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive data centre design and delivery experience, including hyperscale or colocation environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall MEP design strategy for assigned data centre projects across the region, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and technical rigor.
• Own the mechanical and electrical discipline leadership, including chilled water systems, HVAC, liquid cooling, or power distribution, UPS, and MV/LV systems.
• Champion seamless coordination between mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, structural, and security disciplines.
• Oversee the full design lifecycle from feasibility and concept through detailed design, IFC, and construction support.
• Establish and enforce internal design governance, including design reviews, technical due diligence, and risk assessments.
• Provide senior oversight during construction and commissioning to validate design intent and performance.
