Job summary

Vertex Holdings in Singapore seeks a Head of Technology to own and advance our AI-driven investment platform. You will lead a small engineering team, stay hands-on, shape architecture in Python/Django, and oversee IT operations and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities include delivering end-to-end architecture across Python/Django backend, TypeScript/React frontend, PostgreSQL data layer on Google Cloud, and building AI capabilities with LLMs and agent systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small engineering team to deliver production-ready software.
• Own end-to-end architecture across the Python/Django backend, TypeScript/React frontend and PostgreSQL data layer on Google Cloud.
• Build and maintain AI capabilities including LLMs, agents, data retrieval and structured extraction.
• Ensure security, data protection, and robust CI/CD and testing practices.
