Job summary

Singtel is seeking a senior leader to own Day 2 AI & Agent Operations, overseeing production AI estate, agents and ML models. You will manage end-to-end operations, incident governance, and partner with Day 1 build, platform, data and business stakeholders for reliable, safe AI in production.

You will lead Singapore and India teams, drive governance, and set SLAs, KPIs, and a growth roadmap to scale the AI estate while safeguarding quality and safety across time zones.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 10+ years in technology with production operations, SRE, or ML/AI functions.
• Experience leading remote or offshore / cross-border teams.
• Track record operating or governing ML/AI systems in production.
• AI/ML operations, reliability engineering and observability.
• Evaluation, gating and quality governance for AI.
• Understanding of LLM/agent and traditional ML lifecycles and failure modes.
• Incident management, SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• People leadership across cultures, locations and time zones.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the Day 2 operating model end to end — handover gates, evaluation and observability.
• Lead and develop the Singapore and India teams of agent operations and ML/AI.
• Manage a distributed, cross-border operation with clear ownership and handoffs.
• Hold gate and go/no-go authority for the AI estate and ensure evidence-based decisions.
• Own incident governance for the estate and report major incidents to senior stakeholders.
• Govern deployment and change discipline with platform and Day 1 build teams.
• Own the function’s SLAs, error-budget policy and KPIs and report value to the board.
• Set growth and maturity roadmap for scaling coverage and tooling.
