Job summary

Visa is seeking a hands-on Director of Cybersecurity AI Product Development to build and lead a newly formed product engineering team focused on AI agent products for cybersecurity use cases.

This technical leadership role balances hands-on engineering with people management, hiring a team of approximately six engineers and security specialists. The leader will define architecture, establish standards, and drive secure, scalable product delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in AI research, software engineering, security engineering, AI product engineering, or related roles.
• 3+ years of experience managing high-performing technical teams, preferably in product development or cybersecurity.
• Experience leading cybersecurity/AI product teams and building AI security products.

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, and lead a new team of engineers within the first three months.
• Define team structure, roles, operating model, rituals, and delivery cadence.
• Review technical designs, architecture decisions, code changes, and security-sensitive implementations.
• Drive end-to-end delivery across discovery, design, prototyping, implementation, testing, release, monitoring, and iteration.
