Job summary

Profile Executive Search client seeks a Head of AI & IT Operations in Singapore to shape the AI strategy and lead the enterprise IT environment underpinning critical operations.

You will own the AI/data strategy, drive automation initiatives, and oversee IT Operations across applications, infrastructure, networks, end-user technology and cybersecurity to ensure resilience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 14+ years in IT operations leadership within a complex end-user organisation.
• Proven track record leading IT Operations with breadth across applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, service management and systems delivery.
• Experience translating AI/automation initiatives into implemented use cases with measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of AI/data governance, enterprise architecture, information security and technology risk.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the enterprise AI and Data Strategy, prioritising and implementing AI, automation and emerging tech use cases across the organisation.
• Lead end-to-end IT Operations across enterprise applications, infrastructure, networks, end-user technology and cybersecurity, ensuring resilience and operational excellence.
• Establish governance, risk and security frameworks for safe adoption of AI and new technologies.
• Lead major technology and digital transformation programmes from strategy to hands-on implementation and adoption, while strengthening internal capabilities.
• Partner with senior leadership to translate technology opportunities into measurable operational and business outcomes.

Our client from the services sector is looking for a Head of AI & IT Operations, a newly created leadership role at the intersection of AI, emerging technologies, and enterprise IT. This is an opportunity for a hands-on technology leader to shape and execute the organisation’s AI and Data Strategy, translate emerging technologies into practical business use cases, and lead the technology environment that underpins critical operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the enterprise AI and Data Strategy, including the identification, prioritisation and implementation of AI, automation and emerging technology use cases across the organisation.
• Lead end-to-end IT Operations across enterprise applications, infrastructure, networks, end-user technology and cybersecurity, ensuring resilience, availability and operational excellence.
• Establish the governance, risk and security frameworks required for the safe and responsible adoption of AI and new technologies.
• Lead major technology, systems and digital transformation programmes from strategy through hands-on implementation and adoption, while strengthening internal technology capabilities and reducing reliance on outsourced delivery.
• Partner with senior leadership and business stakeholders to translate technology opportunities into measurable operational and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Over 14 years of IT operations experience, including significant IT leadership experience within a complex end-user organisation.
• Proven track record leading IT Operations, with strong breadth across enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, service management and systems delivery.
• Demonstrable experience taking AI, automation or emerging technology initiatives beyond strategy into implemented use cases, with clear business or operational outcomes.
• Strong understanding of AI/data governance, enterprise architecture, information security, technology risk and responsible AI adoption.
• A hands-on technology leader who can operate across strategy and execution, engage senior stakeholders and lead multidisciplinary technology teams.
• Experience within the Singapore Public Sector or similar complex, highly governed environments would be highly advantageous.
