Job summary

ANGLESEY EMPLOYMENT AGENCY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Café Supervisor to lead the beverage operations and supervise the barista team. You will ensure high-quality coffee preparation, maintain equipment, and deliver excellent customer service to enhance overall café performance.

You will train junior baristas, manage inventory, and uphold hygiene and food safety standards while supporting daily café tasks and service quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the barista team to ensure smooth daily café operations and high service standards
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other drinks following established recipes
• Maintain consistency in coffee quality, presentation, and beverage recipes to meet customer expectations
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment to ensure optimal function
• Train and mentor junior baristas on coffee preparation techniques, equipment handling, and service standards to build team capability
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrup, and other beverage supplies and assist with timely stock ordering
• Develop and update standard recipes and beverage preparation procedures to maintain quality and efficiency
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are strictly followed at the bar and work area
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally to enhance customer satisfaction
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and support daily café operational tasks
• Monitor workflow and coordinate with café staff during busy periods to maintain service efficiency
• Collaborate with the café manager to support efficient operations and achieve service quality goals
