Job summary

Fusion Worldwide in Singapore is seeking a hands-on hardware test technician to evaluate CPUs, memory modules and IC components. You will develop and execute test plans, run verifications, and validate product integrity for customers.

You will collaborate with Purchasing and Sales to deliver accurate testing reports, update tools, and contribute to training materials. The role offers a collaborative environment and growth opportunities within the electronics components field.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in electronics component testing.
• Familiarity with IC authenticity verification methods is a plus.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting and/or software testing.
• Proficient in MS Office and English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and verification of CPU, memory, and IC components to detect defects and authenticate component integrity.
• Identify and flag counterfeit IC components to maintain supply chain quality.
• Maintain and calibrate testing platforms and equipment.
• Update testing applications to ensure compatibility with new products and components.
• Work closely with Purchasing and Sales Representatives to provide accurate and timely testing reports.
• Create detailed defect reports for Purchasing and buyers to facilitate vendor follow-up.
• Assist in preparing training materials to enhance team testing capabilities.
• Ensure all defects are properly tracked and documented throughout the process.
• Comply with Safety, ESD, and other relevant certification requirements.
