Job summary

Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, invites a Project Engineering Intern to support scheduling, drawings, and technical proposals. You will gain hands-on exposure to water treatment technologies and learn system design basics while collaborating with engineers, sales, and suppliers.

This internship emphasizes documentation, site visits, and learning to read P&IDs, with a focus on teamwork, communication, and a proactive attitude in a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering disciplines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team.
• Positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
• Working Location: Gul Lane; Company transport from multiple MRT stations.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in planning and tracking project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Help prepare engineering drawings and documents used to build and install water treatment systems.
• Support the team in preparing technical documents and quotations.
• Learn how water treatment systems are designed based on customer needs.
• Assist in preparing project proposals and technical reports.
• Review customer requirements and compare them with engineering designs and drawings.
• Participate in site visits to observe installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Use AutoCAD and other software to update drawings and documentation.
• Gain hands-on exposure to industrial water treatment technologies such as chemical dosing, filtration, cooling towers, and wastewater equipment.
• Collaborate with project engineers, sales teams, suppliers, and customers to support project execution.
