Job summary
Beyondsoft International Singapore is seeking an Assistant Test Engineer to perform test and debugging activities, and to assemble/disassemble testing equipment in line with work instructions and test procedures. You will review requirements and execute tests according to cases, recording results and maintaining equipment.
The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Nitec in Engineering with at least 1 year of software or device testing experience; proficiency with MS Office is advantageous and you will
Qualifications
- 1+ year of software, device or prototype testing.
- Ability to perform test cases and report defects.
- Familiarity with maintaining test equipment and recording results.
Responsibilities
- Assist Test Engineer to carry out all the test and de-bug related activities
- Perform hands-on assembly & disassembly of testing equipment/device so that testing activities is in accordance to work instructions, test procedures and work schedule
- Review and clarify test requirement
- Execute testing based on the test cases
- Perform the exploratory test and clarify test procedure when needed
- Perform troubleshooting and identify root causes for the issues and report the defects
- Record and document results
- Assist in maintaining test equipment
