Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore is seeking a motivated engineering student to join the 55nm RRAM development team for hands-on experience in advanced memory technology, focusing on device characterization, modeling, and data analysis. You'll work with device engineers to evaluate bitcell performance and support SPICE model development for next-generation embedded non-volatile memory applications.

Qualifications

• Education – Actively pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or related fields.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Available for a 16–24 week credit-bearing internship commencing January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Characterize RRAM bitcells using wafer-level and bench measurements.
• Perform RRAM SPICE simulations and model validation.
• Analyze electrical data, including switching performance, endurance, and retention.
• Correlate silicon measurement results with simulation data.
• Support device debugging, data analysis, and technical reporting.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
