Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a motivated engineering student to join the 55nm RRAM development team in Singapore for an internship. You will gain hands-on experience characterizing RRAM devices, performing measurements, and aiding SPICE model development for non-volatile memory applications.

Work closely with device engineers, analyze electrical data, and contribute to technical reporting. This internship offers mentorship, professional development, and exposure to leading semiconductor memory

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or related fields.
• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week.
• Available for a 16–24 week internship starting January 2027.

Summary of Role:

We are looking for a motivated engineering student to join our 55nm Resistive Random Access Memory (RRAM) development team. This internship provides hands-on experience in advanced semiconductor memory technology, focusing on RRAM device characterization, modeling, and data analysis.

The intern will work closely with device engineers to evaluate RRAM bitcell performance, perform electrical measurements, and support SPICE model development for next-generation embedded non-volatile memory applications.

Essential Responsibilities include:

• Characterize RRAM bitcells using wafer-level and bench measurements.
• Perform RRAM SPICE simulations and model validation.
• Analyze electrical data, including switching performance, endurance, and retention.
• Correlate silicon measurement results with simulation data. Support device debugging, data analysis, and technical reporting.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Securityrequirementsand programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education–Actively pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or related fields.
• Mustbe ingood academic standing.
• Ability to workat least40hoursper week during the internship.
• Available for a 16–24 weekcredit-bearing internshipcommencingJanuary 2027.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior related internship or co-op experience
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor devices and circuits.
• Familiarity with SPICE simulation tools and data analysis.
• Programming skills (Python or similar) are advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
