Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in food production/manufacturing operations preferred.
• Prior supervisory or team management experience preferred.
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Able to lead and manage a production team.
• Organised and able to plan manpower and production schedules.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety.
• Able to communicate clearly with management and production staff.
• Willing to learn and improve existing processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily food production to meet production targets.
• Supervise, train and manage production staff.
• Assign daily duties and monitor staff performance.
• Ensure products meet quality and consistency standards.
• Monitor production output, wastage and efficiency.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and SOPs are followed.
• Manage raw material and packaging inventory.
• Plan ingredient requirements and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of the production kitchen.
• Troubleshoot daily production and manpower issues.
• Maintain basic production, inventory and staff records.
• Work with management to improve production processes and efficiency.
