Job summary

Ruder Finn, Inc. in Singapore seeks a proactive Finance & Accounting freelancer to support the Finance team.

You will handle bookkeeping, project cost reconciliations, billing support and general finance administration, collaborating with the Finance Manager and Senior Accountant. Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Solid accounting knowledge with practical experience in bookkeeping, AR/AP and reconciliations.
• Experience in project cost reconciliation and project billing is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financials is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand Chinese invoices and documents.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare customer invoices and support collection of outstanding receivables.
• Perform bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process staff expense claims and maintain master data in Workday.
• Prepare project cost reconciliations and verify third party costs.
• Support project billing and maintain project cost and revenue trackers.
• Prepare month end schedules and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients and vendors on finance matters.
• Assist with audit, tax and statutory reporting.
• Support process improvements and ad hoc finance/operational tasks.
