Job summary

Lions Home For The Elders in Singapore is seeking a facilities maintenance assistant to perform repair works on electrical and mechanical devices, conduct routine building upkeep, and support housekeeping stock management. The role involves coordinating with 3rd party contractors, setting up facilities for meetings, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in building maintenance, can read English instructions, and are comfortable liaising with vendors.

Qualifications

GCE N/O Level or ITE Certificate (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in building maintenance work.
Able to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and maintenance manuals in English; basic Chinese reading ability for liaising with contractors and vendors.
Hands-on and with initiative.
Able to work independently as well as in a team.
Willing to work a 6-day work week.

Responsibilities

Perform repair works of electrical and mechanical devices.
Perform periodic cleaning of assigned areas & facilities.
Conduct routine maintenance and upkeep work of building installations and equipment.
Attend to 3rd party contractors / vendors doing servicing or repair work in the premises.
Set up facilities and equipment for meetings.
Assist in management of housekeeping stocks.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
