STUDIO DE MA PTE. LTD. is seeking a motivated Hair Stylist cum Assistant to support our salon team in delivering exceptional hair services and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for clients.

The ideal candidate has basic hair care knowledge, good communication, and a positive, team-oriented attitude; weekend availability is preferred to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a salon or hairdressing environment is preferred.
• Relevant training is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of hair care, styling, and salon procedures.
• Willing to learn and develop professional hairstyling skills.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Positive, responsible, and team-oriented attitude.
• Well-groomed and professional appearance.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior stylists with hair services, including washing, drying, blow-drying, colouring, and basic styling.

• Shampoo and condition clients' hair and provide proper scalp care.
• Prepare clients and workstations before and after services.
• Assist with hair colouring, treatments, perming, and other salon services.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the salon, tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Welcome clients and provide friendly, professional service.
• Maintain proper stock levels of hair products and inform the supervisor when supplies are running low.
• Follow salon safety, hygiene, and service standards.
• Support other team members to ensure smooth daily salon operations.
