MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Guidance Officer for Si Ling Primary School in Singapore.

The contract runs from 15 February to 18 November 2027, with deployment subject to school needs. You will support at-risk pupils and supervise disciplinary processes in collaboration with the Student Development Team. Qualifikationen

• Registered with MOE by tender closing date.
• Experience supporting at-risk students in educational, community or correctional settings.
• At least three years of demonstrated experience working directly with at-risk youths in educational, community or correctional settings. Primary school experience is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Work with the Student Development Team and Head of Student Management to support pupils with disciplinary concerns, irregular attendance or a risk of disengaging from school.
• Supervise in-house suspension, reintegration and time-out sessions. Use restorative conversations and reflective activities, and follow up with form teachers on missed sessions.
• Assist with preliminary fact-finding, student and witness statements, evidence collation and incident reports.
• Mentor identified pupils, conduct check-ins and campus patrols, and provide targeted social-emotional learning modules and classroom support.
• Engage parents through calls, meetings and home visits where necessary. Agree on strategies to support positive behaviour and attendance.
• Maintain confidential case notes, review progress with school staff and support referrals to community agencies with the School Counsellor or Student Welfare Officer.
• Record late-coming, offences and interventions, compile discipline statistics and support learning continuity during suspension. Carry out related student management administration.

Guidance Officer - Si Ling Primary School

Contract: 15 February to 18 November 2027

Salary: SGD 25-32 per hour

Working hours

Monday and Wednesday, 9:30am-4:00pm; Tuesday and Thursday, 7:30am-2:00pm. Normally up to 26 hours per week. The school may require Friday deployment from 7:30am-2:00pm. Final weekly scheduling is subject to school confirmation. The school may vary deployment for examinations, school activities and holidays. No service on public holidays. Estimated total deployment: 1,066 hours.

Requirements

• Registered with MOE by the tender closing date.
• Relevant experience supporting at-risk students in educational, community or correctional settings.
• At least three years of demonstrated experience working directly with at-risk youths in educational, community or correctional settings. Primary school experience is an advantage.
• Commitment to supporting children and their development.
