Job summary

Grant Thornton Singapore is seeking an experienced GST professional to join our Indirect Tax team at Assistant Manager or Manager level. You will take ownership of client engagements, work closely with clients and senior stakeholders, and contribute to the growth of our practice.

The role offers opportunities to work across GST compliance, ASK/ACAP reviews, and InvoiceNow projects, with exposure to technology-enabled tax solutions and cross-jurisdiction advisory within Grant Thornton's global

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or a related field.
• ATP accreditation from SCTP would be advantageous.
• Minimum 4 years GST experience for Assistant Manager; 5 years for Manager.
• Strong organizational skills and client service with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Managing GST compliance engagements.
• Conducting GST health-checks, ASK annual reviews, and ACAP reviews.
• Supporting InvoiceNow implementation and other tech-enabled process improvements.
• Undertaking vendor and purchaser due diligence as part of a multi-disciplined team.
• Managing and supporting advisory and consulting assignments.
• Supporting clients with IRAS enquiries and audits.
• Project managing supply chain assignments across taxes and jurisdictions within Grant Thornton's global network.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Leading GST advisory and consulting assignments.
• Supporting practice growth and cross-selling opportunities.
