Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Deutschland GmbH in Singapore is seeking Senior Manager level candidates to lead GST advisory work across Asia, with a focus on M&A tax due diligence, structuring, and compliance services.

The role will involve guiding complex cross-border engagements and coordinating with Transaction Advisory and Private Equity Performance Improvement groups to deliver integrated due diligence for high-profile clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant professional qualification is preferred.
• At least 8 years of GST experience, preferably with an international accounting firm.
• Positive attitude with initiative, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative team player thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on GST treatment for business transactions, including cross-border and new arrangements.
• Assist clients with GST registrations, exemptions, import schemes, and rulings.
• Review and e-file GST returns and statements to IRAS.
• Conduct GST health checks, ASK reviews, and ACAP reviews to assess compliance.
• Assist clients in preparing responses to IRAS queries.
