Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Growth Operations professional for its Global Payment team to drive user growth for international BNPL services on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

You will analyze business objectives, design data-driven growth strategies, and collaborate with algorithms, data, and engineering to refine lifecycle operations. This role emphasizes cross-functional execution and measurable results across global markets, with a 5-day onsite work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, with 3 years and above of practical experience in user operations and growth.
• Data-driven with strong logical thinking and data analysis skills. Proficient in statistical analysis tools and knowledge. Experience in using data to drive problem-solving and project implementation.
• Business acumen with the ability to abstract business scenarios. Capable of breaking down business objectives and driving iterative implementation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, execution, and project management skills. Strong sense of responsibility and project-driven mindset. Ability to work well in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of driving user growth for international BNPL services. Analyze the core objectives of the business in the context of global e-Commerce transaction scenarios and identify key growth opportunities.
• Design and iterate growth strategies by utilizing data analysis, user research, industry analysis, and competitor analysis. Develop differentiated guidance and marketing strategies for refined user operations and lifecycle management.
• Analyze and assess the growth potential of products and risk control, and drive continuous improvement of product and risk control capabilities through data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with teams such as algorithms, data, and engineering to facilitate the development of algorithm models for refined user lifecycle operations. Evaluate and continuously iterate to enhance the effectiveness of the models.

Responsibilities

The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payment team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact on global scale across all ByteDance's business use cases.

• Take ownership of driving user growth for international Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services. Analyze the core objectives of the business in the context of global e-Commerce transaction scenarios and identify key growth opportunities.
• Design and iterate growth strategies by utilizing data analysis, user research, industry analysis, and competitor analysis. Based on an understanding of different user segments, develop differentiated guidance and marketing strategies to implement refined user operations and lifecycle management.
• Analyze and assess the growth potential of products and risk control, and drive continuous improvement of product and risk control capabilities through data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with teams such as algorithms, data, and engineering to facilitate the development of algorithm models for refined user lifecycle operations. Evaluate and continuously iterate to enhance the effectiveness of the models.

This role will be based onsite at our office and will require a 5-day onsite work arrangement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s):

• Bachelor's degree or above, with 3 years and above of practical experience in user operations and growth.
• Data-driven with strong logical thinking and data analysis skills. Proficient in statistical analysis tools and knowledge. Experience in using data to drive problem-solving and project implementation.
• Business acumen with the ability to abstract business scenarios. Capable of breaking down business objectives and driving iterative implementation.

Preferred Qualification(s):

• Prior experience in strategy products and user growth.
• Prior experience in industries such as e-commerce, payment, and consumer finance.
