Job summary

Jebsen & Jessen seeks a data analytics support role in Singapore to assist in preparing and cleansing data for Power BI reports, and to help develop dashboards with basic DAX and data modelling.

The position includes supporting AI proof-of-concept work, preparing datasets, and testing AI features integrated with Power BI and SharePoint. You will also document report logic and participate in project discussions and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Basic understanding of data concepts (tables, columns, joins) and data handling (Excel/CSV).
• Interest in data analytics, Power BI, or AI.
• Exposure to Power BI, SQL, C#, or AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data preparation and cleansing for Power BI reports (CSV, Excel, SharePoint, SAP extracts).
• Support the development of Power BI dashboards and reports under guidance, including basic DAX measures and data modelling.
• Perform testing and validation of Power BI reports against expected outputs.
• Help document report logic, data sources, and assumptions.
• Support AI proof of concept and prototype development (chatbots, analytics assistants, AI summarisation).
• Prepare datasets for AI experiments and test AI features integrated with Power BI/SharePoint.
• Execute test cases for dashboards, AI features, and automation workflows, and maintain project trackers and status updates.

Job description

• Assist in data preparation and cleansing for Power BI reports (e.g. CSV, Excel, SharePoint, SAP extracts).
• Support the development of Power BI dashboards and reports under guidance, including:
  • Basic DAX measures
  • Data modelling (relationships, calculated columns)
  • Visual layout and usability improvements
• Perform testing and validation of Power BI reports against expected outputs.
• Help document report logic, data sources, and assumptions.

2. AI & Automation Project Support

• Support AI proof of concept (POC) and prototype development (e.g. chatbots, analytics assistants, AI summarisation).
  • Preparing datasets for AI experiments
  • Prompt testing and refinement for AI models
  • Evaluating AI outputs for accuracy and relevance
• Help test AI features integrated with tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, or internal applications.
• Conduct basic research on AI tools, libraries, or approaches relevant to ongoing projects.

3. System Testing & Documentation

• Execute test cases for dashboards, AI features, and automation workflows.
  • Project documentation and presentation materials
• Support the team in maintaining project trackers and status updates.
• Work closely with developers, analysts, and project leads to understand business requirements.
• Participate in project discussions, demos, and internal knowledge sharing sessions.
• Follow Group IT standards, security guidelines, and data governance practices at all times.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, IT, Computer Engineering or other IT related disciplines
• Basic knowledge of Data concepts (tables, columns, joins), Excel or CSV data handling
• Interest in data analytics, Power BI, or AI.
• Exposure to Power BI, SQL, C#, or AI tools
• Basic understanding of dashboards or data visualisation principles
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
• Willingness to learn and follow structured guidance.
