Job summary

AIA Shared Services in Singapore is seeking an actuarial professional to support the Business Underwriting team in Corporate Solutions. You will price group insurance products, help develop offerings and manage portfolios to achieve financial goals.

You will collaborate with Senior Management, Finance, Actuarial and Group Office, and engage with intermediaries, reinsurers, industry bodies and regulators to support our business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Studies or Mathematics & Statistics.
• 2–7 years actuarial experience in Group Insurance/Employee Benefits/Health Insurance with direct insurer or reinsurer.
• Professional actuarial qualification from a recognized international actuarial body with good progress toward qualification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and SQL and at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Pricing and risk assessment for employee benefits insurance products in line with underwriting standards.
• Product development and experience analysis including refreshing pricing assumptions and tools.
• Reinsurance management and administration including reporting and treaty analysis.
• Support other responsibilities to meet strategic, financial and operational goals.
