Job summary

Michael Page Singapore is assisting a leading manufacturing group to hire a Head of Finance who will report to the CEO/GM. Based at Singapore HQ with regional exposure, you will lead the finance and accounting function across the Singapore headquarters and regional entities, driving governance, consolidation and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA) and 10+ years of experience.
• Finance leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial or engineering environments.
• Strong expertise in group consolidation, IFRS reporting and multi-entity operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and accounting function across the Singapore HQ and regional entities.
• Oversee monthly group consolidation and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage and develop the finance team with strong governance and controls.
• Prepare monthly management reports, board reporting packs and financial analysis.
• Partner business stakeholders to provide insights on margins, working capital, inventory and cash flow.
• Lead annual statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and advisors.
• Monitor FX exposure, intercompany transactions and group compliance.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis and reporting improvements.

Job Description

Reporting to the CEO/GM, you will:

• Lead the finance and accounting function across the Singapore headquarters and regional entities
• Oversee monthly group consolidation and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS requirements
• Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring strong governance, controls and reporting accuracy
• Prepare monthly management reports, board reporting packs and financial analysis for senior leadership
• Partner business stakeholders to provide insights on margins, working capital, inventory management, cash flow and operational performance
• Lead annual statutory audits and serve as the key liaison with external auditors and advisors
• Monitor foreign exchange exposure, intercompany transactions and group compliance requirements
• Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis, reporting enhancements and business partnering activities

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, qualified CA, CPA, ACCA with at least 10 years of working experience
• Proven finance leadership experience within a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment
• Strong expertise in group consolidation, IFRS reporting and multi-entity finance operations
• Experience managing external audits and engaging senior stakeholders across the organisation
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
• Hands‑on leader with strong people management skills, managing a team of up to 10 headcounts
