Job summary

GXBank seeks a Group Data & AI Governance Specialist to lead data/AI governance initiatives, policies, and tooling across the bank group. You will collaborate with data science, MLOps, product, technology and risk teams to embed privacy, accountability, and fairness in products and processes.

You will drive data architecture, risk assessments, model monitoring, and governance lifecycle across traditional ML, GenAI, and agentic systems, delivering clear guidance and surfacing governance controls

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of AI governance and data governance experience, preferably in banking or digital services in Singapore.
• Experience with AI model validation, ML risk assessments, and model monitoring.
• Ability to balance innovative business and AI development with strict regulatory compliance.
• Understand AI, LLMs, and large-scale data systems and governance tooling.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles, metadata, and model lineage.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, especially Snowflake.
• Knowledge of MAS FEAT, AI Risk Management Framework, IMDA governance is preferred.
• Self-starter with cross-functional collaboration.
• Industry knowledge: banking/FS data domains.
• Strong PM, communication, and Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with data engineering and MLOps teams to implement a robust data architecture and governance dashboards to improve efficiency, data accuracy and consistency.
• Implement data quality and AI controls and metrics using governance tools and reports.
• Develop and implement data governance solutions using APIs, automation, and Generative AI with IT, Data Engineering and IAM teams.
• Define lifecycle for traditional ML, Generative AI and agentic systems from ideation to production, including risk assessment frameworks.
• Create technical guidance and best practices for Bank Group employees on data and AI governance.
• Coordinate data and AI governance inquiries, audits, and incident remediation.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards and Data Owners to enforce enterprise-wide governance policies.
• Translate business rules into technical data quality rules with Data Steward.
