Group COA & Finance Data Governance Lead

Job summary

Frasers Property is seeking a proactive finance professional to govern the Group's financial master data and COA structures. The role ensures integrity, alignment with policies, and consistent maintenance across reporting processes.

You will support data cleansing, mapping, migration, and finance transformation initiatives across ERP and planning modules, partnering with Finance, IT and external partners to deliver robust data governance and improved reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance, financial reporting, consolidation, finance transformation, finance master data governance, finance systems or related roles.
• Strong understanding of chart of accounts structures, financial reporting requirements and finance master data governance.
• Hands-on experience with data cleansing, data mapping, reconciliation and migration activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
• Exposure to enterprise finance, consolidation, planning or reporting systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, OneStream, IBM Cognos Controller, IBM Planning Analytics).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with good analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, collaborate with stakeholders and follow through on assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as custodian of Group's Operating COA and Group COA, ensuring integrity and consistency.
• Review, evaluate and coordinate requests for creation, modification or retirement of accounts and master data.
• Assess impact of COA changes on reporting, consolidation and planning.
• Partner with Finance, Technical Accounting and stakeholders to align with policies and governance standards.
• Maintain and govern finance account hierarchies, structures and mappings.
• Governance and documentation of finance master data standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitor and resolve master data issues and ensure timely maintenance.
